They can certainly vote to expand the court. The question is will all Democrats vote in favor of that or will some defect. Will some Republicans join the Democrats? Who knows. I don’t know that the Senate can fill Buster such legislation. The Senate changed the role on filibuster for Supreme Court nominees. They could change the role for this. Don’t know if it would pass, but if that’s the only way they can stop Trump I would not put it past them, which is why I am suggesting this might be one of their tactics.

Worrisome, yes. The Senior Editor-At-Large of Breitbart News wrote in 2021 of Dems unveiling a court-packing bill. In it he wrote that Democrats began talking about packing the Supreme Court after Justice Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed in 2018. Biden once dismissed the idea, but moved to the left on the issue, as he did on many others. He declined to state his position until late in the 2020 presidential campaign, after the confirmation of Justice Amy Coney Barrett, when he proposed the commission. Congress can set the size of the Supreme Court without a constitutional amendment, though the last president who tried to pack the Supreme Court, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, was opposed by his own party.

His effort is viewed by historians as a crude power grab — but one that ultimately convinced the Court to stop striking down his New Deal legislation and to allow government powers to grow. However, I firmly believe that this Court would be convinced otherwise. They and Americans are too aware that the Biden Administration's idea of saving democracy is by destroying it. These people are traitors. Straight up. It is a coup. Not a soft coup but a real one. The intention of this legislation is political disenfranchisement of at least half of the citizens of this country. If this passes there will be a real insurrection.
